G-City Martini, King's Day Edition
- a cocktail shaker filled with ice
- 50 ml Hooghoudt Sweet Spiced Genever
- 15 ml orange juice
- 15 ml pineapple juice
- 20 ml berry jenever
- orange wedge for garnish
Here's how to make this adventurous mix:
Put all ingredients, except for the lime wedge, in the shaker and 'shake' everything well for 30 seconds. Grab a martini glass (also called a coupette or cocktail glass), and using a strainer, and pour the cocktail into your glass. Garnish with a slice of orange for that orange King's Day effect.
Raspberry Olorosso Smash
The aged 6 is an ideal base for this fruity cocktail. The Oloroso notes and added botanicals such as raspberry and cocoa are in harmony in this mix with the mashed raspberries and mint. Cocktail lovers will enjoy it and fans of cask aged spirits will find this cocktail interesting.
An extremely accessible variation of the RAW Tonic. With refreshing bitters and the slight tartness of grapefruit.
Zero Zero 24. 0% alcohol combines juniper berries and lavender with a hint of elderflower.
For lovers of (spiced) rum that want something different, the Spiced & Stormy is a go to this season. By using ginger beer instead of ginger ale, this is a slightly spicier variant of the Dirty Genever.
Sweet Spiced Pineapple
Sweet Spiced Genever in combination with Roasted Pineapple Soda. The roasted notes in soda add special taste to the cocktail that will pleasantly surprise you. This, in combination with Sweet Spiced and lime will make a fresh sweet cocktail with a nice twist.
Hooghoudt Sweet & Spicy
If you like a firm bite, this Hooghoudt Sweet, Spicy and Fruity is ideal. The mix is sweet but also tastes surprisingly fresh because of added Ginger Ale and mint. Served in a highball glass, you at least have enough to get through all the exciting football matches of the lionesses. Go Holland go!
