Aged Fashioned
PX sherry is a whole cousin of the sherry oloroso. Same taste style, but slightly sweeter. No wonder the two get along so well in this strong cocktail. Ripe notes of currants, raisins, and a subtle hint of nuts. Hot, fruity, Spanish flair.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Hooghoudt Aged Genever 6 years
- 15 ml PX sherry dulce
- Angostura Bitters
- 1 orange
How to make this cocktail:
Fill a tumbler glass with ice and add 60 ml Hooghoudt Aged Genever 6 years. Then add 15 ml of PX sherry dulce and two drops of Angostura Bitters. Garnish with an orange zest and stir well a few times.
