Genever is our signature drink and its main ingredients are malt wine, juniper berry, grain alcohol and water. Hooghoudt uses malt wine which is made of wheat, rye and corn. Hooghoudt’s grain alcohol is made from soft French winter harvest wheat and forms a refined and perfect base. The pure, natural water which is used comes from the river Aa in Drente.
