Hooghoudt recently became the first Dutch family distillery to introduce a line of Hard Seltzers under its own brand. The sparkling and alcoholic drink is a trend that came over from the United States, where it has become very popular in a short time.

Alderman Chakor from the municipality of Groningen received the first bottle of rainwater jenever from our own Arno Donkersloot on Thursday. The production of rainwater jenever is the result of a progressive European demonstration project aimed at making food production more sustainable.
