
Hooghoudt is registered with the Campaign for Sensible Drinking (STIVA). Together with other Dutch manufacturers and importers of beer, wine and spirits, our company actively contributes to promoting sensible drinking and reducing alcohol misuse. For this reason, Hooghoudt expressly does not target young people in its advertising activities. Hooghoudt endorses STIVA’s role in promoting socially responsible market behaviour by coordinating and communicating on the self-regulation realised by the industrial sectors on the basis of the Press Advertising Code for Alcoholic Beverages. Hooghoudt participates in consultations with the government and other relevant parties in order to achieve STIVA’s objectives, and provides information on sensible drinking and preventing alcohol misuse on request.
